Yesterday, I was very excited to get this in the mail:
I tossed it on the couch and sat next to it for about 3 hours. When I finally got to opening it, I remembered that a FN correspondent told me my comment might be included in an upcoming issue of Food Network magazine. Instantly, I flipped to those pages and started scanning all the names. And lookie at what I found:
I’m in Food Network Magazine! It’s just a silly comment but, hell, it’s something! I literally jumped off the couch, ran around the house like a lunatic, and promptly started bragging. Next, I’m aiming for a full-page spread; I’m coming for you, Bobby Flay! Let’s throwdown! A candy bar throwdown, maybe?
“Deconstructed Snickers”. It was the only thing I ate last night that could ever be considered Food Network worthy: Dark chocolate, honey, peanut butter, peanuts, sea salt. Hey! That could be on 5-ingredient fix with Claire Robinson! I’m on fire! I’m all over the Food Network!!
What’s on your life’s to-do list? I don’t have one, but if I did there’d now be a big check to “Get in to Food Network’s magazine”. I think I need to go out and buy all too many issues of this one issue.

Congratulations! I hope they take your suggestion and run with it.
